Helcim Enables Client-Side Ecommerce Transactions with Helcim.js Release
CALGARY –Â Calgary-based payment processing company Helcim Inc. is proud to announce the release of Helcim.js. Hosted on Helcim's PCI Level-1 payment gateway, the JavaScript plugin facilitates a client-side transaction between the client's web-browser and the payment gateway. Once the transaction is processed, the authorization results are submitted back to the merchant's web server. The end result is a fast online credit card transaction without the need for the customer to leave the merchant's website and without the need for the merchant's website to receive or transmit sensitive credit card data.
