JasperSoft Partners with ZuckerReports Creator in Latest Release of Jasper4Sugar

JasperSoft Drives Operational Business Intelligence to New Level In Collaboration With Sugar Community's Most Popular Project

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 6 / / -- JasperSoft Corporation, the market leader in open source business intelligence (BI), today announced major enhancements to Jasper4Sugar(TM), a reporting and business intelligence solution built for use with the SugarCRM product family. JasperSoft has partnered with go-mobile, the creator of ZuckerReports -- the most popular third-party project on SugarForge -- to jointly deliver the solution, which includes JasperServer Professional, JasperAnalysis Professional and JasperETL, as well as pre-built reporting, analysis, and data integration content and capabilities.

Tens of thousands of organizations worldwide have downloaded ZuckerReports to add extended reporting capabilities to Sugar. Jasper4Sugar adds to this a library of pre-built reports and OLAP analysis cubes, self-service ad hoc reporting, report management and scheduling, as well as pre-built data integration feeds, which are automatically available upon installation and customizable for users' specific business requirements. Advanced reporting and analysis is available from inside the Sugar application, providing a seamless integrated experience for business users.

"Operational business intelligence is more essential than ever for companies relying on the right data to make mission-critical business decisions," said Jose Morales, vice president of business development for JasperSoft. "By integrating business intelligence into everyday applications and processes, JasperSoft is leveraging its foundation in open source to take BI capabilities to the next level. Jasper4Sugar, powered by ZuckerReports is a perfect example."

With the JasperServer Professional module in the Jasper4Sugar solution, business users can manage and interact with reports in an intuitive Web 2.0 interface, as well as build their own advanced reports with a zero-client, drag & drop, WYSIWYG ad hoc report designer. JasperAnalysis Professional is also included, allowing business users to "slice and dice" data using a Web browser to visualize and discover trends and exceptions in their business data.

"By combining the power of the JasperSoft Business Intelligence Suite with ZuckerReports, we're building the best commercial open source BI tools available," said Florian Treml, Managing Director, go-mobile. "The in-depth analysis and easy-to-use reports are a business users' dream."

"JasperSoft and ZuckerReports represent the best in business intelligence," said Paul Oh, Director of Technology Alliances at SugarCRM. "We're excited to have the new Jasper4Sugar reporting and analysis tools tailored to SugarCRM's products."
