Temple, GA - Janus International has developed a standard chain hoist operated fire door, the FD30CH, to include greater size capabilities than ever before, creating competitive price advantages for larger fire door applications. With UL label classification for up to four hours of protection, the FD30CH fire door has evolved from a maximum size capability of 250 square feet to include opening sizes up to 400 square feet. "The Janus chain hoist fire door is a simple and efficient system, where installation, drop testing, and re-setting is fast, predictable and accurate every time", states David Dawdy, Rolling Steel Product Manager. "A 400 square foot fire door will release silently and glide down to the floor like a feather each time you lift the test handle".
