Ittiam Systems Introduces IP Video Phone Solution on Windows® Embedded CE 6.0


One of the First to Leverage the Power of Windows Embedded CE 6.0 and DaVinci Technology for High Performance Video Phone Design for OEMs and ODMs

BANGALORE, India, Nov. 30 / - Texas Instruments (TI) Developers Conference - Ittiam Systems announced its complete IP video phone solution on the newly launched Windows Embedded CE 6.0 from Microsoft Corporation. It is built on TMS320DM6446 - DaVinci technology based processor from TI.

Ittiam's video phone, IPVP6446, is an established software plus hardware solution that has been licensed across U.S.A., Europe and Asia. It is accompanied by a reference platform that can be customized for specific application scenarios. The video phone offers high quality H.264 based video, a complete range of speech codecs, telephony and call signalling functions fine tuned for hands-free speaker phone operation for peer-to-peer or multi- way conferencing.

In response to the growing interest in its IPVP6446 solution on the Windows and to leverage the power of the operating system, Ittiam has now made it available on Windows Embedded CE 6.0 operating system along with the complete board support package necessary for the video phone application.
