It's Not Easy Being Green; the Nilfisk GD10 Back Makes it Easier!

Nilfisk GD10 Back Vacuum Certified Green by the Carpet and Rug Institute

Malvern, PA, October 7, 2008--The Nilfisk GD10 Back vacuum has received a Green Label by the Carpet and Rug Institute. Overseen by independent labs, The Green Label program is designed for architects, builders, specifiers and facility managers who want assurancebthat their carpet and adhesive products meet the most stringent criteria for low chemical emissions and help improve indoor air quality. To receive Green Label certification, the GD10 Back underwent a 14-day testing process that measured emissions for a range of chemicals.

Designed with comfort and ease-of-use in mind, the GD10 Back was launched in early 2008. It is incredibly powerful for its small size and equipped with a variety of features for fast, effective cleaning in a multitude of industries.

o Lightweight, ergonomic design proven* to reduce fatigue
o Low noise level for operator comfort and cleaning in noise-sensitive areas
o Upstream HEPA-filter allows for safe collection of hazardous materials, trapping 99.99% of particles, down to and including 0.3 microns.
o Standard equipped with a sack-style main filter that will prolong the life of both the HEPA- filter and motor.
o Exhaust air is directed upward so that it does not interfere with the operator.

*In an independent European study conducted by the Sweden-based Tva Ergonomer testing and ergonomic consultancy bureau, researchers rated the GD10 Back "better than rivaling backpack vacs on all design criteria," when compared to 3 other internationally recognized brands. The ergonomic evaluation further noted the importance of the Nilfisk unit's lighter weight and overall harness design in minimizing stress and strain on the body, resulting in higher productivity rates.
