It's Hands-on Action at Magnetek's AISTech 2016 Exhibit

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. – Visitors to Magnetek’s display at the 2016 AISTech   Iron Steel Technology Conference and Exposition being held in Pittsburgh, Pa, May 16-19 will have an opportunity to try their hand at a variety of the Company’s material handling control solutions. Attendees will be able to recreate variable torque control on a mill duty crane through a hands-on demonstration using Magnetek’s Braketronic™ and Static Stepless Simulation controls, which are built into their highly regarded IMPULSE®•G+ and VG+ adjustable frequency drives. Visitors will also be able to feel the proportional control of Magnetek’s Black Max™ motor while operating a Braketronic™ foot pedal and Static Stepless Simulation Control system with the Company’s MLTX2™ radio remote control. Finally, attendees will be able to experience the advanced diagnostic capabilities of Magnetek’s Human Machine Interface (HMI) which will be displayed with fully functional virtual joysticks and pushbuttons.

Magnetek offers a variety of AC line regenerative drives that help customers save energy. Attendees at the conference can calculate the energy savings they can realize by installing Magnetek’s line regenerative products with their new Material Handling Calculator, debuting at the AISTech Exhibition.

In addition to hands-on demonstrations, Magnetek will feature selected products from their broad range of digital and motion control solutions, including variable frequency drives, radio controls, collision avoidance products, heavy duty brakes and power delivery products. “Magnetek is unique in the material handling industry in that we offer customers unmatched application expertise and one stop shopping for their material handling control solutions; solutions that allow them to improve system through-put, save energy, and increase safety,” said Dan Beilfuss, Magnetek’s director of sales. “I think visitors to our exhibit this year will enjoy the hands-on demonstrations we have available so they can see and feel how we can improve their material handling system.”
