Isolation Valve reduces possibility of leakage.

Press Release Summary:

Series 462 Resilient-Seal 3-Way Inert Isolation Valve utilizes soft FFKM [Kalrez(R)] disc within PTFE diaphragm to create tight seal against valve. Constructed of PTFE, PEEK, and FFKM, it is suitable for handling aggressive reagents or high purity media as found in analytical instrumentation. Internal volumes and dead volumes are minimized to avoid contamination and wasting of reagents.

Original Press Release:

Miniature Isolation Valve with "Resilient-Seal" Technology

Greatly reduces the possibility of leakage.

ASCO Scientific introduces the new Series 462, "Resilient-Seal", 3 Way Inert Isolation Valve. "Resilient-Seal" technology utilizes a soft FFKM (Kalrez*) disc within a PTFE diaphragm to create a tight seal against the valve greatly reducing the possibility of leakage. The Series 462, "Resilient-Seal" Inert Isolation Valve prevents leakage from occurring due to the forgiving nature of its soft, FFKM (Kalrez*) seal.

In addition to the benefits of its "Resilient-Seal", the Series 462 is constructed of highly inert materials such as PTFE, PEEK, and FFKM (Kalrez*), which makes it ideal for handling aggressive reagents or high purity media commonly found in analytical instrumentation. Internal volumes and dead volumes are also minimized to avoid contamination and the wasting of expensive reagents.

Its compact size, super long life and low wattage make it perfect for analytical instrumentation.
