IR Thermometer measures true target temp with accuracy of ±5°F.

Press Release Summary:

Pyrofiber® II multi-functional, non-contact IR thermometer comes with electronic box, fiber optic cable and sealed sensor head. Microprocessor measures temperature at 1 ms data acquisition rate, allowing digital signals to be output at 70 readings per second. Collected target temperature is output via analog and digital signal to PC or network main frame for analysis. Several models are available covering temperature ranges from 480 - 5825°F.

Multi-Functional IR Thermometer

Uniquely Designed for Accuracy and High speed Data Collection

Pyrometer Instrument Co. Inc. Northvale, NJ - Introduces the Pyrofiber® II model, a multi-functional non-contact, IR thermometer specially designed for accuracy and high speed data
collection. The Pyrofiber® II uses state of the art technology to precisely measure the true target temperature to an accuracy of ±5°F (±3°C).

The Pyrofiber® II's unique microprocessor measures temperature values as fast as 1 ms data acquisition rate, allowing digital signals to be output as quickly as 70 readings per second. The
instrument is user friendly offering flexibility in readings at single or interval rates as well.

The instrument provides the operator with total temperature measurement information. Collected target temperature is output via analog and digital signal to a PC or network main frame for analysis. Two easy modes of operation are offered; AUTO mode for on-line process control and off-line mode for various temperature testing and system controls. Access to readings can be obtained locally (instrument's keypad) or remotely via a host PC.

The Pyrofiber® II System comes complete with electronic box, fiber optic cable, and a "sealed" sensor head, that prevents any outside electronic interference. The sensor head is perfectly
designed for harsh environments handling temperatures up to 480°F.

Several models are available in both industrial and laboratory versions, covering a temperature ranges from 480°F - 5825°f (250°C - 3200°C), with target size ranges between .040" - 2.300"
(1 mm - 58mm) diameter at a focal distance from 4" - 120" (100mm - 3048mm). Custom sensor heads and probes are available to suit specific requirements.
