Award Winning IR FlexCam Infrared Camera Now Available with 1200°C Temperature Range Capability


Minneapolis, MN­January 3, 2005­Infrared Solutions, Inc. has announced a high-temperature range option for their popular IR FlexCam infrared camera family. This high temperature option is available for the IR FlexCam Pro and IR FlexCam T cameras and doubles their functional temperature measurement range to 1200°C (2192°F) as compared to the current standard 600°C (1112°C) range. "Increased temperature measurement capabilities are required for process control and research & development as well as predictive and preventative maintenance applications," said Sean O'Driscoll, Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Infrared Solutions. High temperature applications such as glassmaking, smelting, and industrial drying systems, including cement plants, demand extended temperature ranges and accuracy O'Driscoll added. For existing customers that own either the IR FlexCam Pro or IR FlexCam T, a 1200°C temperature range upgrade is available.
