IQMS Medical Customer Honored with an MDEA Award
Aribex's revolutionary hand-held dental X-ray device, the NOMAD Pro, receives a silver Medical Device Excellence Award
PASO ROBLES, CALIF. - IQMS, a manufacturing ERP software and MES developer with an ongoing, proactive commitment to its product and relationships, today announced that one of its medical customers, Aribex, Inc., has won a Medical Device Excellence Award (MDEA) for its NOMAD Pro device. Revolutionizing the way dental X-rays are taken, the NOMAD Pro is the world's first hand-held X-ray device that can be used in or out of the conventional dental office setting, making it ideal for humanitarian, nursing home or other remote use.

Initially founded in response to an expressed need for truly portable dental X-ray equipment for humanitarian field-service work, Aribex's dedication to those in need greatly reflects the 2012 MDEA trend of developing products for emerging markets.
From remote, global locations such as Bolivia, India, Panama and Haiti to suffering people on America's own home front, the NOMAD Pro has proven indispensible in assisting doctors in humanitarian and access-to-care work across the globe. Hundreds of thousands of patients, most of whom had never seen a dentist before, have had access to a high level of dental care for the first time in their lives, thanks to Aribex.
