Innovative, easy-to-use mobile messaging application to be unveiled at 3GSM 2007
3GSM WORLD CONGRESS, BARCELONA, Spain, February 12, 2007 - IP Unity Glenayre, Inc., the global leader in providing next generation messaging solutions and enhanced services, and Core Mobility, the market leader in developing integrated mobile applications, today announced a partnership to deliver innovative and easy-to-use messaging services to mobile operators. The partnership's debut offering, Versera My Services Mobile(TM), enables users to directly control network hosted messaging features from a graphical interface on their mobile handset.
The new product, which will debut at 3GSM World Congress 2007 in Barcelona, Spain (Hall 1, stand 1C17), features a web-services mobile in concert with a peer-to-peer hosted VoiceSMS service that integrates with IP Unity Glenayre's network-based messaging platforms. My Services Mobile(TM) will also enable subscribers to access Versera My Services(TM) portal, the easy-to-use web interface for configuring and controlling voice mail features via the internet. My Services Mobile(TM) will give subscribers greater flexibility and control over administration, features and settings of their messaging services.
Beyond the user satisfaction advantages of the application, it also lowers operators' call center traffic by placing common administrative tasks in the hands of the user anytime or anywhere. The application, implemented using standard protocols and web services, is designed to work across any mobile network and supports popular mobile handset platforms, including BREW, Java, and Windows Mobile.
