There are many applications where a static neutralizing bar is required but can not be located within the 1" normal range of ionization. The new Ion Transport Long Distance Bar can be located " from the area requiring neutralization. A few of the many applications are: Bag making machines (wicketeer) - Center and Surface slitter rewinds - Web presses unwind and rewind, silk screening, sheeters, newspaper presses folding area etc. Depending on the application and speed of process, the new Long Distance Bar can be located 12" away from static charged material.
