The Model 1552 Megastatic Ionizing Air Blower, manufactured by Cole Static Control Inc, Akron, OH, is a new generation of ionizing air blower for static elimination in the plastics component markets. The equipment, which is available as a self-balancing static control blower is available in several different sizes from 8" to 48". It can be used at workstations or over manufacturing machines for elimination of stubborn static charges, lowering dust contamination potential and reducing operator shocks.
Ionizers are available with heaters and speed control and do not require an external power supply for part ionization.
