Thermal Arc® Launches New 'Next Generation' Inverter Family

St. Louis-March 1, 2004- Thermal Arc® has completed its launch of an entire new lineup of nine lightweight and efficient Next Generation inverter power supplies for STICK (SMAW), DC TIG (GTAW), AC/DC TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) applications.

While welders everywhere have grown familiar with the equipment names -- P-Wee®, Pro-Lite®, Pro-Plus® and Pro-Wave® -- these revamped Next Generation inverter products have been greatly enhanced to justifiably earn the "new" designation. Each machine in the family has been improved and expanded with achieving unmatched versatility and value in mind.

Thermal Arc's new portable inverter models range in weight from 19-63 lbs. and all come with control panel covers to protect against the elements. Standard features include voltage reduction (VRD(TM)) safety for STICK welding, durable / stackable construction, and full digital controls. A 3-year warranty is provided with each unit.

A six-page, full-color brochure is now available from Thermal Arc distributors highlighting features of each of the nine machines in the Next Generation family. Output current types and amp ranges, plus other details, are provided in a simple but comprehensive chart used to illustrate the various machines covered by the brochure. The brochure also includes informative, dedicated application pages.
