Integration of Ericom's HTML5 remote access technology provides secure, on-demand remote access to Invensys' industrial software
CLOSTER, N.J. – Ericom Software, a global leader in application access and desktop virtualization solutions, today announced an agreement to use its high performance HTML5 browser-based application access solution with the Invensys real-time operations automation and information management software. The bundled solution offers Invensys users worldwide a cost-effective, fast, and scalable way to access their Invensys applications from any device, anywhere, without the upfront costs and complexity of deploying dedicated application clients.
This integration enables instant web enablement of Invensys software clients, translating to immediate savings on R&D and deployment overhead as well as protecting the installed base's past investments in Invensys software.
Answering the growing demand for Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) capabilities, this collaboration enables users to access Invensys applications from any PC, Mac, Chromebook, iPad, iPhone or Android device and smartphone, alleviating the need to develop, install or configure dedicated client software for these devices.
