Introducing Several New & Powerful Control Features for the ProScanTMII & PriorPCI2 High-Speed Stepper Motor Controllers

Rockland, MA. (March 28, 2007) - Prior Scientific is pleased to introduce several new and powerful high-speed control features for the ProScanTMII and PriorPCI2 stepper motor controllers. These additional new features allow complete system control via advanced TTL control methods. Each of the four available TTL inputs on the ProScanTMII or PriorPCI2 can now be configured to execute a series of commands to control Prior's XY stage, focus motor, filter wheels, shutters and also to adjust the light level on the new Lumen 200Pro Motorized Fluorescence Illumination System. TTL triggers can be configured to change focus position to perform Z stacks, change the XY stage position, change fluorescence filters, open and close shutters and attenuate the Lumen 200Pro Fluorescence illuminator light output. Utilizing TTL control methods eliminates serial communication delays, increasing throughput dramatically in applications such as high throughput screening and multiple position 3D imagi ng.
