Intrinsically-Safe Relays from Macromatic Industrial Controls, Inc

Macromatic announces the availability of their new Intrinsically Safe Relay line. These products provide a safe and reliable method to control a load with an input device located in a hazardous area. They are incapable of releasing sufficient energy to cause an accidental ignition of hazardous material by minimizing the current level on the input side of the unit. Our relays are UL 913 Listed for Class I, Groups A, B, C, D, Class II, Groups E, F, G and Class III hazardous locations. They make costly explosion-proof enclosures with their special mounting requirements unnecessary.

Each ISP Series relay consists of an intrinsically safe control switch input and an electromechanical relay output. When the control switch in the hazardous area is closed, the relay is energized. When the control switch is opened, the relay is de-energized. Typical applications include pump lift stations, liquid level control users, grain elevators, refineries and paint rooms.

Release of this product adds to an extensive line of protective relays manufactured by Macromatic that meet a wide range of needs in industrial applications.
