In any multi-CAD enabled 3D environment, efficient and seamless integration of models between platforms is essential. That is the case for the vehicle test, validation and engineering services company Millbrook. The nature of their business requires engineers to work with large CAD models of vehicles from a variety of customers who supply data from different CAD systems in a variety of formats. Their business also requires their engineers to be nimble and accurate in order to deliver on diverse customer requirements. However, CAD models are not always optimized for use, which used to mean days of work to convert 3D models and repair them before the team of engineers could even begin their specialized testing and validation work.
Millbrook learned about ITI’s CADfix at a tradeshow, followed up the next day with a phone call, and quickly received a demonstration of the solution. When Millbrook saw that CADfix could successfully repair 3D models in minutes – models that had previously taken them days to repair – the team was convinced CADfix was an ideal fit.
