Original Press Release:

Intermediate Bulk Containers for the Chemical Process Industries

MACON, GA -- Mulox Inc. offers the chemical process industries a range of flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCs) capable of meeting a range of dry materials handling needs. These needs include electric discharge safety, protection of sensitive compounds, multi-trip reusable containers and maximum cube/minimum footprint. The company provides extensive applications expertise, including storage testing, resulting in individual solutions with economy, reliability and enhanced product image/presentation. All Mulox containers are designed for use with over-the-road, rail and sea transport with no special handling equipment. Materials used in Mulox containers meet DOT/United Nations performance standards.

Mulox Safemaster(TM) Type C anti-static, conductive containers preserve product quality and guard the safety of both personnel and nearby equipment. Commonly used with compounds such as plastic resins, dyes and mineral pigments, these FIBCs safely transport nonconductive powders or pellets that would otherwise build up considerable static charge.

Guardmaster(TM) containers transport and store sensitive compounds that require special protection. Mulox manufactures the Guardmaster under hygienic conditions to help protect and maintain product quality. Available barrier liners include metallized, foil or clear EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer) materials. Their extremely low oxygen, moisture and vapor transmission rates provide protection against degradation and contamination. These liners also protect against exposure to sunlight and UV radiation.

The Tripmaster(TM) container is the Mulox answer to cost and environmental pressures that encourage reuse and refurbishing of FIBCs. Most users cycle Tripmaster bags a minimum of 10 times, and they are easily recyclable once their service life is over.

The Mulox Spacemaster(TM) option, available in most models, affords approximately a 25% higher volume than conventional FIBCs. These bags when filled can be stacked three high for exceptional space utilization. Furthermore, the bags maintain a stable cubic shape when filled, making more efficient use of floor area in both transportation vehicles and warehouses. Their ease of handling and extra stability contributes to attractive arrival conditions at the customer.

Mulox offers many options to suit individual requirements, including loose, tabbed or glued (four sides and bottom) liners and a hygienic flap. Various top and bottom closures are available. Customer logo and product information can be printed in two colors.
