Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers for Hazardous Waste Solids

MACON, GA -- Mulox offers flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCs) for handling hazardous waste solids. Mulox FIBCs are designed for use with over-the-road, rail and sea transport with no special handling equipment.

The Mulox cubic yard bag has a 35-in. square base and a 36-in height. With a capacity several times that of drums, the design is tested, certified and approved by an independent lab for UN packaging Groups II and III. A standard pallet, triple stacked, occupies only 16 sq. ft of warehouse space. Drums require a minimum of 15 times more warehousing space and are difficult and costly to handle and ship

This package features a full-open duffle top with a flat bottom and a 3-mil LLDPE liner inserted into the bag for total containment of moist materials. Fabric is 6.5 oz. polypropylene. Capacities range to 2,205 lbs with a 6:1 safety factor, or 2,645 lbs with a 5:1 factor. The container has an outstanding certified stacking capacity, able to stack four units high. Bags are tested to meet or exceed customer standards.
