June 15, 2002, Waterloo, Canada. Woodhead Connectivity proudly announces the release of its PC/104 two channel interface card for DeviceNet (part number SST-DNP-104-2).
This SST PC/104 interface card allows you to connect a PC/104 computer to two DeviceNet networks. Applications include PC Control, Operator Interface, Human-Machine Interface (HMI), and network configuration, troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Every SST DeviceNet interface card includes free-of-charge:
o DeviceNet Network Analyzer and Monitor diagnostic software tools

The PC/104 DeviceNet interface card offers even more features. 1) The entire DeviceNet protocol is executed in hardware. 2) It is UCMM capable; Group 1, 2, and 3 dynamic explicit connections are supported. 3) It allows simultaneous execution of Group 2 Client (master) and Server (slave) operation. 4) All DeviceNet standard baud rates are supported: 125, 250, and 500 Kbaud. 5) It provides full DeviceNet implementation including Change of State (COS) and explicit messaging; 6) DeviceNet compliance is
ensured at the card level for I/O scanner and device applications.
