SST Interbus Module for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Now Supports Rockwell Automation's RSLinx

Remotely Download any Program Change via Ethernet or Serial Networks August 2002, Waterloo, Canada. Woodhead Connectivity proudly announces the release of the latest version of its Interbus Module for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, which now includes Remote Link Library software (part number SST-IBS-CLX-RLL). The New Remote Link Library software provides added functionality to the SST Interbus module by allowing you to remotely download changes to your program. This is done by routing data from Phoenix Contact's Configuration, Monitoring, and Diagnostics (CMD) software for Interbus through Rockwell Automation's RSLinx to the Rockwell Automation ControlLogix backplane. The SST Interbus module then takes this routed data and acts on the network as if the CMD data were directly connected through the local serial port. This allows the user to now use their existing Interbus network to connect through a Rockwell Automation ControlLogix controller to RSLinx supported networks including Ethernet and Serial networks. The SST Interbus Module for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix is referenced in the Rockwell Automation Encompass program.
