Intepro's APEC 2016 Exhibit to Feature Demo of Compact Regenerative Load

Company will feature a live demo of its advanced ELR9000 Series of electronic loads in Booth 2152; live demos of its programmable DC supplies will round out the exhibit

TUSTIN, Calif. – Intepro Systems, a market leader in power component and power system automated test equipment (ATE), will feature a live demonstration of its ELR9000 Series of electronic DC loads in Booth 2152 at APEC 2016 in Long Beach, CA, March 21-23. The rack-mounted unit is available, off-the shelf, with output ratings of 3.5 kW, 7 kW and 10.5 kW -- scalable to 105 kW.

A unique feature of the ELR9000 Series is an integral, grid-synchronized inverter designed to return up to 94% of the load test energy back to the grid. Recovering the load energy dramatically reduces energy costs. It also offers a cost-effective alternative to the expensive cooling systems used by conventional air- and water-cooled loads to dissipate energy as heat.

"Our new ELR9000 Series of electronic DC loads packs all the necessary features of today's electronic loads into a rack-mount unit," said Eric Turner, Intepro's spokesperson. "This is especially useful for rental companies and others that need to ship the devices from one location to another. Competitive units are so large they often require costly crating to transport."

Rounding out their products on display at APEC 2016, Intepro will have live demonstrations of its line of programmable DC power supplies. The supplies all feature auto-ranging capability that can allow a single unit to replace multiple supplies in production testing applications requiring variable input voltage conditions.
