Performance-Optimized Aarohi Design Leverages Multiple ARC(TM) Configurable Processor Cores
SAN JOSE, Calif., November 9, 2004 - Aarohi Communications, a leading provider of intelligent SAN components that are enabling a new generation of storage networking platforms, is using 11 configurable processors from ARC International (LSE: ARK) as the basis for its FabricStream Intelligent Storage Processor. Operating at 40Gbps, FabricStream utilizes ARC-Based technology for data path and on-chip control functions and delivers leading wire-speed packet-based processing performance, far surpassing what is achievable from general purpose cores and network processors.
