Newisys Introduces the NDS-1122, 48TB Integrated Storage Server



New Technology Reduces Power Consumption Up to 50% and Uses Intel's New Atom C2000 Processor



SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Newisys, a leading provider of data center products for enterprise and cloud applications, today announced availability of the NDS-1122, an advanced 1U integrated storage server with a capacity of 48TB. Developed to provide a cost-effective storage solution for unstructured data at the petabyte scale, the new NDS-1122 is ideally suited for use in Erasure Coded arrays and other large scale-out storage solutions.

"By using the Atom C2000 processor, total power consumption of the system has been reduced by 50% with no reduction in performance.
