Newest Edition to Insulation Line Perfect for HVAC and OEM Applications
Pacor, Inc., a leading fabricator and distributor of insulation products for the OEM industry, introduces new Valulite(TM) Fiberglass Insulation. Made from borosilicate glass fibers, which are bonded with a thermosetting resin, this lightweight, highly resilient blanket-type thermal and acoustical insulation is ideal for applications in the OEM and HVAC industries.
Through control of fiber diameter and product density, the cost-effective Valulite insulation blanket is available in two levels of conductivity: Valulite-24 (k = 0.24) and Valulite-25 (k = 0.25). Both versions provide excellent acoustical performance. They are also effective at temperatures of up to 350° F (177° C), unfaced.
The glass fibers that comprise the insulation are both incombustible and non-hygroscopic, creating an inhospitable environment for the growth of fungi and vermin. Pacor's Valulite is also unaffected by oil, grease and most acids.
Valulite insulation blanket's inherently high tensile strength helps the product resist damage during lamination and installation. The resiliency and flexibility provides resistance to settling, breakdown, sagging from vibration and damage caused by impact.
Pacor's Valulite insulation blanket forms easily around corners and curved surfaces, and is readily cut in die presses or with a knife. Available in thicknesses and widths from 24" to 72" (610mm to 1829mm), Valulite is compression packaged, significantly reducing volume, resulting in potential savings in freight and storage costs. Pacor will customize the insulation blankets to meet consumer requirements.
