AliMed Introduces 1,000V Safety-Insulated Tools
April 1, 2004, Dedham, MA -AliMed is introducing the new S.I.P. line of insulated hand tools to its expanding offering of ergonomic and safety-related supplies. All S.I.P. tools are safety-rated for 1,000V AC live-line use (and additionally tested for up to 10,000V AC), are impact resistant, flame retardant, and two-color insulated for added safety. Every S.I.P. tool complies with or exceeds safety standards in accordance with ASTM F1505-01 for insulated hand tools. The S.I.P. line represents more than 850 a different hand tools-ergonomically-designed sockets, ratchets, wrenches, pliers, complete tool sets, and more-for use in facilities or environments where live voltage up to 1,000V AC or 1,500V DC is present.
