Appleton Introduces AGUB Enclosure
SKOKIE, IL, June 12, 2003 - Appleton has expanded its extensive family of electrical products to include the new AGUB, a ruggedly built instrument and meter enclosure for use in hazardous locations, such as chemical processing plants, oil refineries and paint factories.
UL Listed and CSA Certified, the new AGUB is built to the industry's highest standards with copper-free cast aluminum protected by a corrosion-resistant power coat finish, a precision-threaded flame path between the box and cover, cast mounting feet, and a large cover opening (4 to 11-1/4 inches) that allows for easy access to electrical devices such as ammeters and voltmeters, or for fast wire splicing and pulling. An O-Ring gasket seals out moisture, dust, oil and dirt for interior and exterior locations.
To permit viewing of the instrument dial or setting the AGUB offers the choice of a sight glass in the cover, or the standard solid cover. The AGUB is available in large range of sizes.
