This is the motto behind Baumer's new high-grade steel sensors. Baumer is now introducing a generation of high-grade steel sensors that can be used in virtually any product. Combining this with Baumer's signature sensor miniaturization allows simple integration of the sensors into customer-designed housings.
With decades of experience in temperature and pressure sensors, its product range has been expanded with many innovations in the position sensor area.
Inductive sensors that are now indispensable for automation tasks are being offered in various 1.4404 all-metal versions.
Enhanced EMC immunity and expanded temperature ranges up to +100 °C are special features of these sensors. They are available from a diameter of 6,5 mm.
Laser distance sensors with accuracies down to the µm range can be used easily both outdoors and in the process area. Protection classes up to IP 69K and their insensitivity to ambient light up to 100 kLux make these sensors unique.
Baumer is also setting new standards with the Veri-Sens® family of vision sensors.
The rugged high-grade steel housing is resistant to most aggressive media and suitable for use in the food or pharmaceutical industries. The variety of integrated vision sensors, extremely simple user guidance, maximum resistance to leaks and a housing design that does not give germs a chance to breed allow solutions that until now were reserved for only expensively encapsulated cameras with separate evaluation systems.
The compact and powerful FlexiDrive positioning drive is available in a high-grade steel version for drive technology also. All drives are available with various bus interfaces such as CANopen or Profibus-DP.
