Insertion Probe is corrosion resistant.

Press Release Summary:

Designed for use with AutoChem's ReactIR(TM) Reaction Analysis Systems, fiber optic coupled DiComp(TM) diamond ATR insertion probe measures 6.3 mm in diameter. When coupled to ReactIR system via AutoChem's FiberConduit, probe can monitor smaller scale reactions taking place in less accessible reactors. Resistant to abrasive chemicals, it enables direct measurement of reactants, intermediates, by-products, and products formed or consumed during chemical reaction.

Original Press Release:

Smallest Diamond ATR Probe with Fiber Optics for Reaction Monitoring

METTLER TOLEDO AutoChem, the world leader in in-situ reaction analysis, announces the availability of a new fiber optic coupled DiComp(TM) diamond ATR insertion probe measuring 6.3 mm in diameter. Designed for exclusive use with AutoChem's line of ReactIR(TM) Reaction Analysis Systems, the smaller DiComp probe offers the same exceptional functionalities as the standard size DiComp probes, which are the industry standard for reaction monitoring via FTIR spectroscopy.

When coupled to the ReactIR system via AutoChem's newly introduced FiberConduit, this DiComp probe provides an unparalleled capability for monitoring smaller scale reactions taking place in less accessible reactors which may be located in tighter spaces. It is highly resistant to attack by corrosive or abrasive chemicals and enables direct measurement of reactants, intermediates, by-products and products formed or consumed during a chemical reaction.
