New Insert/Power Bits Available from Klein Tools



CHICAGO. IL - November 2001 - Klein Tools has introduced a new line of insert/power bits for use in fastening applications. There are 21 different products including: 1" Phillips bits (#1 #92 regular. #2 reduced. #3). 1-15/16" Phillips bits (#1. #2. #3). 1" square recess bits (#1, #2, #3). 1" slotted bits (#6-8. #8-10. #10-12). 2-9/16" magnetic nut setter bits (1/4". 5/16", 3/8"), 2" ball type socket adapter bits (1/4" 3/8"). 2" Phillips double-end (#2 x #2). 2" Phillips slotted double-end (#92 x 1/4"). and a 2-3/8" magnetic bit holder.

The new bits are manufactured from shock-resistant tool steel for longer service life. All are heat-treated and tempered for maximum performance. The bit holder and adapters are made of alloy steel that is also heat-treated for durability.

All bits have a 1/4" hex shank, and all comply with the dimensions of ASME 107.4M-1995. Bits longer than 1" (excluding double end bits) have a 1/4" hex shank with a power groove.
