Innovia Films Exhibits at FachPack 2012

Hall 4, Stand 4-517 - Innovia Films, the leading international producer of speciality substrates, will be exhibiting at FachPack in Nuremberg, Germany.

With around 1,400 exhibitors and 35,000 visitors, FachPack is one of the most important packaging exhibitions in Europe, particularly for the German speaking market. The 2012 edition, held 25-27 September, includes a comprehensive programme covering packaging, technology, processing and logistics.

Innovia Films is a major manufacturer of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) and Cellulose substrates and has production sites in the UK, USA, Australia and Belgium, coupled with a comprehensive network of agents and sales offices, including a team based in Bergheim, Germany.

"At FachPack 2012 Innovia Films will be showcasing the full range we supply to converters, brand-owners and end-users. This will include new options for high barrier and coated BOPP (Propafilm(TM)) and our compostable cellulose-based (NatureFlex(TM)) products. Our films become part of the packaging, labelling or overwrap solution for some of the world's best known brands across a wide variety of everyday consumer goods. These include chocolates, perfume, cheese, teabags, shampoo, cigarettes, beer and biscuits," explained Holger Eschenburg, Sales Manager, Germany.

One of many recent successes in Germany is our NatureFlex(TM) film being used to wrap organic Lebensbaum Tea produced by Ulrich Walter GmbH.

Introducing packaging materials based on renewable resources is part of Lebensbaum's sustainability strategy as Dr Achim Mayr, Managing Director, elucidated: "NatureFlex(TM) combines the packaging quality and functionality we are looking for with our ambitioned environmental consciousness, which fits with our mission."
