Vacuum Pump Inlet Trap for High-Throughput Processes
A high capacity, three-stage vacuum pump inlet trap for applications such as heat treating, crystal growing, CVD processes, and chemical drying is available from MV Products of North Billerica, Massachusetts.
The MV Multi-Trap® 16" Vacuum Inlet Trap features up to 99.999% efficiency, depending upon the filter media selected, and provides 2500 CFM conductance at 0.1 TORR to handle high-throughput processes. Constructed of 304 stainless steel, with a 450 sq.in. knockdown stage for condensing out materials and two separate filtration stages, users can easily customize this trap.
Capable of removing particles, water vapor, acids, and organic vapors, the MV Multi-Trap® 16" Vacuum Inlet Trap has ISO-160 ports and holds 16 filter elements (8 per stage) which can be selected by the user. Filters offered include stainless steel gauze, copper gauze, molecular sieve, activated alumina, activated charcoal, Sodasorb®, and pleated polypropylene.
