Superior coating for film-based label stocks to be exhibited at LabelExpo

Rosemont, IL (September 15, 2004) - Rayven Inc., a leading provider of laminating, coating and converting services and expertise, today announces the introduction of an improved inkjet coating for film based label stocks. This coating, known as IJ-1004, is a bright white coating that is designed to accept all standard inkjet inks. This superior coating also absorbs both pigmented and dye-based inks rapidly, giving fast drying times.

IJ-1004 can be used in many labeling applications utilizing, desktop inkjet printers, wide format printers, and dedicated label printers such as the VIP Color unit. Applications such as signs, bumper stickers, product labeling, and ID cards can take advantage of this water resistant inkjet coating.

The 1004 coating is currently being offered on polyester, PVC, and BOPP films. Rayven can supply the coated face stock or a complete P/S lamination depending on the customers needs.
