InGaAs Quadrant Detectors have large active area.

Press Release Summary:

FCI-InGaAs-QXXX photodiodes have 4 separate active areas, which come in 1 and 3 mm dia. Suited for position sensoring, beam alignment, and beam profiling, products offer responsivity from 1100-1620 nm. Features include stability over time and temperature and response time necessary for high-speed or pulse operation. InGaAs Quad photodiodes are available in TO-5 or TO-8 cans with broadband double-sided AR-coated flat window, or mounted on wraparound ceramic blocks.

Large Active Area InGaAs Quadrants Available from OSI Fibercomm

Hawthorne, CA - March 18, 2003 - OSI Fibercomm, a subsidiary of OSI SYSTEMS (Nasdaq: OSIS), announces the availability of two large active area InGaAs quadrant detectors. The FCI-InGaAs-QXXX photodiodes have four separate active areas, which come in 1mm and 3mm active area diameters. Ideal for position sensoring, beam alignment and / or beam profiling, the InGaAs Quad series has low noise, wide field of view and excellent responsivity from 1100nm to 1620 nm. Features include stability over time and temperature and fast response time necessary for high speed or pulse operation. With high response uniformity and the low cross talk between the elements, these large area InGaAs photodiodes provide ideal operation for accurate nulling or centering applications.

The InGaAs Quad photodiodes series has two housing options. OSI Fibercomm's standard packaging is available in TO-5 or TO-8 cans with a broadband double-sided AR-coated flat window, or they can be mounted on wraparound ceramic blocks.
