Larson Electronics' Magnalight Releases Infrared LED Emitter for Medical Applications
Noting the increasing viability of LED based medical infrared light therapies and treatments; Larson Electronics' Magnalight has announced the release of an infrared LED light emitter tailored to the field of medical infrared applications. The LEDLB-4ET-IR-110V infrared LED light emitter is geared towards medical applications with 850Nm infrared light output and the ability to operate from common 110 VAC current. An adjustable trunnion handle and compact size allows professionals in the medical field to easily manage this units' output for precise control in a variety of applications.
The Magnalight Medical LED Infrared Light Emitter is a highly durable and efficient infrared light source designed with easy operation and manageability in mind. Producing the equivalent of 720 lumens, this LED light emitter produces a powerful light beam in the 850Nm range of the light spectrum. This 850Nm range is a commonly utilized frequency in medical applications such as wound healing therapy and the increasing of cell growth rates. An included trunnion handle provides an easy control point for handheld operation of this unit, allowing the user to comfortably position and hold the unit as needed for the medical application of infrared light energy. Also included with this unit is an inline transformer which allows operation with the 110 VAC current commonly found in wall outlets. These units can also be disconnected from the inline transformer and run directly from 9 to 42 volt DC current if desired.
