InfoBasis Adds Microsoft Skill Frameworks to SFIA and ITG in its Competency Library

LONDON, October 19 --- Capability Management Expert Continues to Expand Framework Library

InfoBasis, the capability management expert, has added a suite of Microsoft skill frameworks to its extensive library of industry standard skills definitions. This takes the number of frameworks in the library to over 70. InfoBasis clients are able to select from the wide choice of frameworks as part of the technology provider's aim to provide total capability management.

Developed entirely by Microsoft, the skills within the framework are mapped to Microsoft's catalogue of learning solutions which allows for easy identification of individual and organisational learning solutions. Offering customers a clear, straightforward structure the Microsoft frameworks cover a breadth of technology areas, including servers, developer tools, and desktop applications.

Other frameworks in the InfoBasis library include SFIA v3 (Skills Framework for the Information Age), ITG Insurance, ITG Manufacturing, and The Oxford Group Behavioural framework - all of which can be deployed using the InfoBasis Enterprise Skills Infrastructure(TM) (InfoBasis ESI) platform. Clients frequently deploy such industry-standard frameworks alongside their own skills frameworks.

Andy Andrews, InfoBasis Product Director, commented on the importance and success of the company's framework library. "By constantly adding to our frameworks library, InfoBasis reassures clients that we are covering every area of competency management. Because they can choose to use an industry standard framework such as SFIA, their own, specific, specialised framework, or a combination of both, InfoBasis customers know their employee skills will be assessed against the highest possible standard."
