Winware Expands Its Product Line to Include a Versatile, Two-Door RFID Cabinet

Marietta, GA - WinWare, Inc., the global leader in providing solutions for managing indirect material announces the addition of the CribMaster AccuCab2D. This expansion to their product line reinforces the company's commitment to innovation and continues to validate the RFID technology utilized in the CribMaster system to accurately manage tools, spare parts, or any indirect material at the point of use.

The CribMaster AccuCab2D, just as in the standard AccuCab, has the same great technology but with a more visual front and a versatile two-door design. According to Larry Harper, WinWare President, "The AccuCab2D represents our success in aligning our product designs with our customer needs." Our goal was to develop a smaller RFID cabinet with two lighter-weight doors that could be used in a less industrial-type atmosphere such as in an office environment or a lab."

The AccuCab2D consists of a heavy-duty, double-walled cabinet internally equipped with four RFID Antennae and electronic door locks. When a user walks up to the cabinet, he or she must identify themselves prior to the door(s) being unlocked. They can do this by using a touch screen monitor mounted on the door or by scanning their employee badge. Once the doors are unlocked, the user opens the door(s) to find inventory (that is tagged using Passive Gen2 Tags) on adjustable shelving. The user removes the inventory and shuts the door(s). The inventory is automatically adjusted and the inventory is properly accounted. The same procedure takes place when returning an item. The user identifies who they are to the system and then clicks "open" to unlock the door(s). The user places the item back on the shelving in any location.

The CribMaster software contains the functionality needed to manage any type of indirect material. From tooling, spare parts inventory, PPE, MRO, etc., CribMaster is a robust and flexible inventory management application that was built by supporting the processes associated with this type of inventory. CribMaster currently has over 5000 customers in 13 countries and is the clear leader in providing technology to assist customers in reducing, tracking inventory movement, enhancing processes and developing more effective replenishment.
