Series 61 16mm Industrial Oil and Watertight Switches
EAO, the expert in Human Machine Interfaces, recommends their Series 61 for a wide choice of easy-installation switches and indicators with an extensive range of options.
Whether it's a round, square or rectangular switch, mounted raised or flush to the panel, EAO can supply a choice of actuators including pushbuttons, indicators, keylocks and selector switches as well as EN-418 rated Emergency Stops.
The standard mounting dimension for the Series 61 is a 16mm diameter hole. However, for tamper resistant flush mounting, Series 61 products are supplied in a choice of mounting sizes including the industry-standard 22.5mm diameter size, along with other options of 21mm square and 21 x 27mm. When mounted flush-to-the-panel, the switch or indicator bezel protrudes by just 2mm from the front, making them ideal for creating easy-to-clean surfaces.
Modularity is another key attribute of the product. Customers can choose from a wide range of lenses, actuators and switching elements. As an added feature, engraving, hot stamping, or film legends can be added to customize lenses. Continuous or flashing illumination can also be provided by a choice of LED's or incandescent lamps.
Rated at 250VAC and 5A, Series 61 is oil and water resistant, meeting IP65 front protection standards. Standard snap-action switching elements feature gold-plated silver contacts, with plug-in or soldered terminals. For PCB-mounting, an appropriate adapter is available.
These switches are equally suitable for retro-fitting existing control panels or for new designs, particularly in the machinery, process-control, medical equipment and instrumentation industries.
