Ersa Introduces First Compact 80W Soldering Station
Plymouth, WI — Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, offers the i-CON NANO as part of its i-CON family of products. The i-CON NANO is the first, ultra-compact 80W industrial soldering station in the world. It has a footprint of only 145 x 80 mm (5,7 x 3,1").
The professional, ESD-safe station in Slim Line format brings the leading European soldering technology to customers in production, development, rework and maintenance. The soldering station uses the ultra-light (30 g) i-Tool NANO soldering iron. Approximately 40 different tips from the i-Tip series 102 are available for this universal tool. As with the other members of the i-CON family, it provides outstanding finishing quality and superior heating technology (9 s heat up time only).
The sensor detection and precise temperature control of the soldering tip results in outstanding soldering results. The i-tool NANO allows for the independent exchange of heating elements and long life tips. Standby and sleep functions provide the lowest energy and consumable costs. Like its sister station, the i-CON PICO, the NANO has an LCD display and two control buttons. Safe and simple configuration of three fixed temperatures, standby and other parameters also can be performed using a microSD card and PC software.
