The field-approved industrial routers mGuard rs4000 and mGuard rs2000 are now available with a built-in Ethernet switch.
The fanless industrial security router mGuard rs4000 4TX/TX from the Factory Line integrates a 4-port managed LAN switch.
A dedicated DMZ port (demilitarized zone) with its own firewall rules allows even stronger segmentation and more sophisticated security concepts. With this configuration, the mGuard rs4000 4TX/TX is very well-suited for the decentralized protection of production cells or individual machines against manipulations.
The latest generation of inexpensive industrial remote service routers mGuard rs2000 5TX/TX from the Field Line integrates a 4-port unmanaged LAN switch. These devices enable a securely tunneled connection via Internet to several LAN stations without the use of external LAN switches – thereby saving space and costs.
