Arista Announces its New ARP-1720AP Series of Industrial 20.1" LCD Panel Computers Featuring a Detachable LCD Monitor and Modular Computer Unit

FREMONT, CA - November 15, 2005 - Arista Corporation, a leading industrial PC solutions provider, today introduced the latest addition to their industrial all-in-one (LCD) Panel Computer line, the new ARP-1720AP Panel Computer featuring a NEMA 4 Panel Mount 20.1-inch Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). The ARP-1720AP has a modular computer unit that is detachable and easily removed from the display. This provides the user easy maintenance and the ability to quickly upgrade the unit. With an emphasis on dependability, safe operation and the ability to seamlessly integrate into any environment, this panel computer with its intuitive touch screen interface is suitable for various industrial environments such as factory automation.
The ARP-1720AP series is designed for flexibility, versatility, easy servicing and quick upgradeability. With a detachable panel mount LCD monitor and modular computer unit, a variety of configurations are easily achieved. The unit provides a variety of configurations ranging from a PIN CPU to a powerful P4 CPU. The ARP-1720AP can also be configured with a DC24V or 100-230VAC input power supply. Multiple expansion slots and an optional RAID-1 are available for certain configuration.
