AAEON Announces New Product Line: Industrial HMI Touch Panel Solutions
Taipei Taiwan - AAEON, a premier Industrial PC manufacturer, has released a brand new product line: Industrial HMI Touch Panel Solutions. The first product of this series named, AHP-1081, adopts the common and power saving Intel® Atom(TM) N270 Processor. It is a slim and compact HMI touch panel that is perfect for Factory Automation, Home Automation, POS, and HMI applications.
The AHP-1081 features the Intel® Atom(TM) N270 processor (up to 1.6 GHz) and includes the DDR2 SODIMM system memory (up to 2 GB). The LCD/CRT controller has been integrated in the processor and shares the system memory (up to 224 MB). This fanless touch panel unit supports two 10/100/1000Base-TX Ethernet communications to offer faster network transmission and deploys two USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232 COM port, one RS-232/422/485 port, and one VGA port for flexible expansion. In addition, the AHP-1081 provides one Mini-PCI for even further expansion.
"The AHP-1081 has a slim outfit that is less than 50mm and features a fanless operation. It offers an excellent heat spreading design and a CompactFlash(TM) to provide ample storage, but also offers a Hard Disk Drive with 2.5" SATA interface for bigger storage needs. The 8.4" SVGA LED LCD touch panel deploys a IP-65 certified plastic front panel to prevent dust and water from entering. Another valuable feature of the AHP-1081 is the net weight, which is only 3.3 lb (about 1.5 Kg) and is ideal for the space limited applications because of the compact size. Furthermore, the AHP-1081 is compatible with common OS's in the market, such as Windows CE 6.0, Windows XP Embedded, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Embedded Standard 7, and Linux Fedora.
