Industrial Ethernet Switch handles harsh environments.

Press Release Summary:

Five-port Model 758-500 automatically determines and remembers where Ethernet device is located and routes messages only through appropriate port. This minimizes network loading and enables true deterministic communications over Ethernet. Switch works over temperature range of -40 to 85ºC, and runs directly on dc power already available in control cabinets, eliminating need for ac outlet transformers. It can be DIN-rail or dircet panel mounted.

New Industrial Ethernet Switch Designed for Harsh Environments

Germantown, WI-WAGO Corporation introduces the new five-port Industrial Ethernet Switch, Product Number 758-500. With its rugged packaging and protected circuitry, the WAGO Ethernet Switch maintains superior performance, even under demanding industrial conditions.

The WAGO Industrial Ethernet Switch works reliably through hot and cold environments, and can withstand a temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. It runs directly on DC power already available in control cabinets, eliminating the need for AC outlet transformers. It can be DIN-rail or direct panel mounted and it features a compact footprint, providing an easy fit into equipment-filled enclosures.

Real-time deterministic control is easily achieved with the WAGO Ethernet Switch. It automatically determines and remembers where an Ethernet device is located and routes the messages only through the appropriate port. This minimizes network loading and enables true deterministic communications over Ethernet.

This product compliments WAGO's remote EtherNet I/O and Programmable Fieldbus Controller that supports the complete IEC 61131-3 programming standard. The WAGO I/O SYSTEM offers the flexibility to perform discrete and process control with over 90 compatible I/O modules including digital, analog, power switching, bar code reader, and scale interfaces.
