Industrial Control Modules utilize Ethernet gateway hub.

Press Release Summary:

Model 2601 hub connects unlimited satellite modules, which perform functions of analog I/O (model 2608), 8 relay outputs (model 2650), and 48 digital I/O (model 2610). Analog module also has 16 inputs and 4 D/A's. Model 2601 connects to user's 10/100 base-T LAN to distribute communication and power to 16 satellite modules. Several gateway modules may be connected to LAN for large systems. All modules are supplied with DIN rail carriers and mating connectors.

Industrial I/O Via Ethernet

Sensoray Company has introduced its 2600 series of industrial controls. The series adds a new family of data acquisition and control modules using an Ethernet gateway hub, model 2601, that connects to unlimited satellite modules. The satellite modules perform the functions of analog I/O (model 2608), 8 relay outputs (model 2650) and 48 digital I/O (model 2610). The 16-input analog module also accepts thermocouples inputs and has 4 D/A's. The 2601 hub connects to the user's 10/100 base-T LAN to distribute communication and power to 16 satellite modules. Several gateway modules may be connected to the LAN for large systems. As an added bonus, the 2601 communication module has four RS-232/422 comm ports. Field wiring is connected directly to the satellite modules. Terminal boards are not required. Novel daisy-chain circuitry is provided for interlocks. All modules are supplied with DIN rail carriers and mating connectors. Single-piece prices are $463 for 2601 Ethernet gateway, $278 for 2650 relay output, $466 for 2608 analog I/O, $295 for 2610 digital I/O.
