September 2004, Escondido, CA - - One Stop Systems announces the first PCI Express(TM) industrial-grade computer systems available for immediate shipment. The entire line of 3U high MaxExpress(TM) MB motherboard systems supports multiple PCI Express(TM) slots in varying combinations of x16, x4 and x1 with speeds up to 8 Gigabytes/second, providing high bandwidth 3rd generation I/O to the peripherals including available PCI Express x16 graphics engines. The motherboard-based, 3U rack mount enclosure supports a wide range of PCI Express motherboards including single Intel® Pentium(TM) 4 or dual Xeon(TM) processors. The Intel® Pentium(TM) 4 Extreme Edition processors with 800 MHz system bus and up to 3.4GHz clock speeds provide strong bandwidth for single processor applications, while the dual Intel® Xeon(TM) processors up to 3.8GHz, provide extreme processing power for the most demanding industrial-grade applications.

Motherboard Features
For single processor applications requiring excellent value and high performance the MaxExpress(TM) MB supports the Intel® D915GEV motherboard with integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900 and Intel® High Definition Audio. The single P4 system has available PCI Express x16 graphics, up to 4GB of DDR2 533/400 memory, Gigabit LAN, Eight USB 2.0 ports, serial and parallel ATA interfaces. The expansion capabilities include one x16 PCI Express slot, two x1 PCI Express slots and four PCI slots.
For high performance, processor intensive applications the MaxExpress (TM)MB supports the Intel® Server Board SE7525GP2 motherboard. The dual Intel® Xeon(TM) processors and an 800 MHz system bus along with the Intel® E7525 chipset, is capable of powering enterprise-critical applications. The board supports up to 8 GB of Registered ECC DDR 266/333 SDRAM, which is dual-interleaved for improved performance with high-end graphics applications. The flexible expansion capabilities of this board include one x16 PCI Express slot, one x4 PCI Express slot, two PCI 33MHz slots and two PCI-X 66 slots. In addition, the dual Xeon motherboard supports a dual-channel serial ATA controller supporting RAID 0 and 1, integrated National* PC87431M mini-Baseboard Management Controller, integrated ATI* RAGE* XL SVGA PCI video controller with 8 MB of video memory, one Intel® PRO/1000 Ethernet port and two USB connections.
Integrated System
Four high-output fans in the rack mount enclosure provide superior cooling, circulating air from front-to-rear through the enclosure. Six 3-1/2" and three 5-1/4" modular drive bays are easily serviceable and provide significant storage capacity. A low profile, integrated 300-watt power supply provides ample power with available options for redundant or high capacity power supplies. The 3U rugged enclosure was specifically designed to meet requirements for harsh environments with features like reinforced corners, removable air filters, heavy-duty rack handles, flush-mounted LEDs, and completely secured internal cabling. Modular components like the removable drive bay modules and the removable motherboard tray provide easy servicing.
One Stop Systems not only provides the highest quality components for a rugged system but also will fully configure and integrate the system to the customers' specific requirements. This includes installing and configuring the motherboard, installing all I/O boards and peripherals such as drives and CDROM. One Stop Systems will also load and configure the operating system and any proprietary software. All products are thoroughly tested and inspected and run through a 30-point checklist. The checklist is signed and included in the box with each product, insuring its proper operation prior to leaving the factory.
