Nematron ICC-e Industrial PC Now Offers Higher Speed Processors Without Higher Price
Ann Arbor, Ml, May 6, 2002 (Amex: NMN) - Nematron Corporation, a leading developer of PC-based control solutions, introduces the ICC-e Industrial Control Computer, now available with an 850
MHz Celeron or optional 1Ghz Pentium III processor. This represents a two-fold increase in processor speed, but carries no accompanying increase in MSRP for the base model.
The ICC-e provides the power of Intel processors with the reliability, stability and fast boot-up of an embedded system. Users can run MS-DOS, Windows 95,98, or NT/2000, for general-purpose industrial computing, or utilize Microsoft Windows NT-Embedded® with Nematron's control and HMI system configured on a solid-state flash disk. The ICC-e uses non-rotating solid-state memory, allowing it to operate without a hard disk (optional hard drives are available) for reliable performance in tough
industrial environments.
Display options include; 10.4" TFT VGA, 12.1" TFT SVGA, and 15.0" TFT XGA. The e-Series is easy to integrate with other plant systems, thanks to standard Ethernet connectivity. Each of these models feature integral membrane keypads and optional resistive touchscreens. In addition the ICC-e have three PCI slots available for expansion cards. All models are NEMA 4/4X/12 rated when properly mounted in an enclosure and have UL, cUL, and CE certifications.
