Inductive Proximity Sensors withstand temperatures to 248°F.

Press Release Summary:

Suited for use in automation and food processing machinery, High Temperature Inductive Proximity Sensors operate from -13 to +248°F and provide NPN or PNP NO output. Models are offered in 5 and 8 mm diameters and come totally sealed in cylindrical, threaded, stainless steel housing. Operating on 10-30 Vdc, CE- and RoHS-compliant products are shielded, have short circuit and reverse polarity protection, allow for flush mounting, and are protected to IP67.

Original Press Release:

120°C / 248°F High Temperature Inductive Proximity Sensors

Fargo Controls, Inc. is pleased to announce two new 120°C (248°F) High Temperature Inductive Proximity Sensors. These new models operate from -25°C up to 120°C (-13° to 248°F), which is 50°C (90°F) higher than standard sensors. These new versions are available in 5 and 8 mm diameters, have short circuit and reverse polarity protection as well as an increased maximum switching current over previous versions. They are totally sealed in a cylindrical threaded stainless steel housing making them ideal for harsh industrial environments. They are also shielded allowing for flush mounting.

They operate on 10-30 VDC and have a NPN or PNP normally open output. Standard features include a 2-meter long high temperature cable, a protection degree of IP67, and are CE & RoHS compliant.

They are ideal for a variety of automation and food processing machinery where temperatures exceed the limits of standard proximity sensors.
