Inductive Proximity Sensors have sensing range to 22 mm.

Press Release Summary:

Offered in 2- and 3-wire versions, M12, M18, and M30 have 10-40 Vdc supply range and offer built-in reverse polarity, short-circuit, and transient voltage protection. Outputs are transistor types, with NPN and PNP versions available. Available with cable or M12 quick-disconnect plug, sensors have nickel-plated brass housings. Flush and non-flush mount sensing ranges for M12, M18, and M30 are 4 and 8 mm, 8 and 14 mm, and 15 and 22 mm respectively.

Original Press Release:

Inductive Proximity Sensors with Extended Sensing Range

February 4, 2005 - Carlo Gavazzi Inc. has released several series of extended range inductive sensors, designed for the needs of today's industrial applications. Sensing ranges for M12 are 4mm flush mount and 8mm non-flush mount. Sensing ranges for M18 are 8mm flush mount and 14mm non-flush mount. Sensing ranges for M30 are 15mm flush mount and 22mm non-flush mount. The sensors have 10-40 VDC supply range, and are available in both 2-wire and 3-wire versions. Outputs are transistor types, with NPN and PNP versions available. The housings are made of nickel-plated brass, allowing the sensors to be both robust and economical. Built-in protections against reverse polarity, short-circuit, and transient voltages make these sensors able to withstand the rigors of industrial environments. The sensors are available with choice of cable or M12 quick-disconnect plug. UL, CSA, and CE approvals. List prices start at $65.
