Lepel Induction Heating Systems Provide Higher Efficiencies in Continuous Heating Applications

EDGEWOOD, NY - Lepel Corporation, a worldwide leader in induction heating technology, provides highly efficient, non-contact solutions for continuous heating. The company's compact induction heating systems deliver exceptionally rapid heating and highly accurate temperature control in compact coil designs, compared with much larger furnaces or infrared tunnels.

For wire and cable applications, Lepel induction heating systems can provide quick and economical normalizing, stress relieving, annealing, hardening, curing, and coating. Because of the use of induction heating, these processes can be completed while the wire or cable is moving through the coil.

In fiber optics, induction heating excels over other methods including conventional radiant furnaces. Induction heating of fibers results in greater fiber strength and better optical properties. Induction heating provides the high temperatures necessary to melt silica glass, 2200°C (4000°F) using zirconia susceptors.

Other applications for induction heating include the continuous processing of tubes, rods, strips, blades and pipes for stress relieving, annealing, and hardening.

Fully automated, custom-designed systems are available in addition to our standard systems, and can be easily incorporated into new or existing lines or cells. Units are compact and can handle medium to high production volumes. Advanced temperature control is available for high process accuracy and repeatability. Lepel offers the industry's most complete line of solid-state, medium and high frequency induction heating power supplies, as well as coils designed specifically for the application.

Lepel Corporation, an ISO-9001 company, has been delivering high quality induction heating and cap sealing solutions for OVER 70 years.
